The more details you can share, the better! Please note that an inquiry is not considered an order until details are finalized and the retainer is received.
Most clients reach out at least 2 weeks in advance for cakes from our Designer Cake Collection (suitable for events with less than 50 guests) and 6 months to 1 year in advance for weddings and other custom cakes. However, we strongly encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to ensure availability. If it's a rush order, we’re always happy to accommodate if our schedule allows. Any rush orders will incur a fee to cover the cost of the additional labor to fulfill on a tight timeline.

Buttercream cakes start at $12 per guest for simple buttercream decorations, and fondant cakes start at $16 per guest for simple decorations. To request a quote, please fill out our Wedding inquiry form or our Events and Corporate form with as much detail as possible.

We will respond to your inquiry via e-mail and may ask you some follow-up questions if necessary to make sure we have a good understanding of your vision. If you're not exactly sure what you want, that's okay too! We're happy to work with you on brainstorming ideas. To place an order and secure your date, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required upon booking.

For custom cakes, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your wedding or event date. For custom cakes booked less than one month before the date, the full amount is due to secure your order.
If the full payment is not received in a timely manner, Silver Whisk Bake Shop, LLC may cancel your order.
For custom cakes, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your wedding or event date. For custom cakes booked less than one month before the date, the full amount is due to secure your order.

We take allergies very seriously and you should inform us if someone in your party has an allergy. Although we thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment and tools after every use, they have all at one point been in contact with tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, soy, and wheat.

Our Swiss meringue buttercream is meringue-based incorporated with creamy butter, resulting in a light and airy buttercream that is just sweet enough. Our vanilla is sourced from a company in France with over 70 years of experience in the industry. The vanilla used is a bouquet of vanilla varieties that, when combined, results in a wonderfully complex and unique fragrance and flavor. This is every vanilla lover's dream come true!

Handling and Storage FAQs
Pick-up is available for one and two-tier cakes. Three-tier cakes require delivery.

Cakes travel best on flat surfaces in air-conditioned or room-temperature vehicles (ex: the trunk of your car, the floor of the car in the back, or the passenger seat pushed back and put on the ground of the passenger seat). This is especially important during warmer months. When holding the cake box, hold it from the bottom sides (don’t squeeze the sides!).

Order Changes or Cancellations
We take on a limited number of cake orders each week and turn down other potential orders once your order is booked so that we can focus completely on your cake. As such, we have the following cancellation policies in place:
- Cancellations made with 28 or more days' notice are fully refundable.
- Cancellations made within 14 days' notice are 50% refundable.
- Cancellations for orders due in less than 14 days will be fully charged and are non-refundable.

Shipping
Yes! Shipping is available for our chocolate bars nationwide (to the lower 48 states) Orders will be shipped out on the date that you select at checkout.
